You have to check out Finger Fuantics, Fine Motor Development Program. It includes a quick screener and 50+ Fine Motor activities using items readily available at home or school. It is now available on DOWNLOAD as well. Visit: www.shop.strategicinterventionsolutions.org
In addition there is a Finger Fuantics Parent Companion that was made especially for parents. The book includes the same activities as the teacher book however it is written in parent-friendly terms. This is great to have as a home-school connection through a parent night or Kindergarten Round-Up (inquire about bulk discount). Parent can come and make 'n' take activities to use with their child.
Stayed tuned...in my next post I will feature some activities from these books that you can use tomorrow with your students. As a special BONUS I will also mention a COUPON code to be used on my website for a discount!

Shannon, thanks for starting this blog up. I am a Kindergarten teacher who attended one of your workshops in Toronto a couple years ago. I loved loved loved your sensory integration workshop. As a PreK/K teacher I see more and more SI needs each year. I would love to gain more knowledge/understanding in this area. Aside from going back to school to become an OT :) what courses/classes would be most beneficial for me?
