RubiStar is a free tool to help teachers create quality rubrics.

Registered users can save and edit rubrics online, but you don't have to register to create a rubric. If you do register, you can access them from home, school, or on the road. Registration and use of this tool is free! Since RubiStar is supported by a grant from the U.S. Dept. of Education, you have to enter your zip code to show where RubiStar is being used.

Then you just start entering text into the fields

Finally you click SUBMIT and TA-DA, you have a customized rubric! You can print it from here, download to your computer, or you can save it to the database if you created an account.
